Participation of LAPUP in CAMS 1st General Assembly

The Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service was holding its inaugural General Assembly over three days, 14 - 16 June 2016, for providers, users and potential users alike.

The General Assembly

  • provided updates on the latest developments to the service;
  • gathered and shared user-requirements and feedback on the service so far;
  • shared the knowledge and experience of the current CAMS providers;
  • identified emerging research and development needs and foster collaborations with the wider atmospheric composition research community;
  • facilitated networking and brainstorming sessions for the atmosphere community in the context of CAMS.

LAPUP participated with two invited talks in the “Users/potential users testimonials” session, held by:

“Use of CAMS for stable isotope studies in the atmosphere and the deterministic skill of air quality multi model ensembles” (A. Argiriou, Univ. Patras)

“Solar resource and forecasting needs (in liaison with the ongoing EU project in Plataforma Solar de Almeria)” (A. Kazantzidis, Univ. Patras)
